About Rabbi Adi Isaacs
Rabbi Adi Isaacs is the founder and director of Jewish Year Abroad, the independent nonprofit behind Thrive Study Abroad, the Nitzavim Fellowship, Rimon Fellows, and Olami Herzliya, and serves as Director of Jewish Life for Anglo students at Hebrew University’s Rothberg International School. A Los Angeles native and Yeshiva University graduate, he began his career with NCSY and Birthright Israel before moving to Israel. He founded Thrive in 2014 to pair accredited study abroad with authentic Israel immersion, and in 2021, together with Hebrew University and the Seven Schwartz Brothers Leadership Trust, launched Nitzavim, which now trains roughly one hundred campus leaders a year. His charge to every student: “Don’t just survive college as a Jew – lead as one.”
